In July of 2000, Pam and I, the staff of Slinky's, our customers, friends, and family were deeply angered and saddened by the untimely loss of our dear friend...Ron Perry, a close and loyal compatriot for many years.  Never one to sit idly by, Big Ron was a fixture at many social venues and events, and was instrumental in the opening of Slinky's.  You would be hard-pressed to find those who did not know him, for there were very few.  Big Ron was a very large man with an even larger heart and a generous spirit that left behind many, many friends who will miss him greatly.  Give 'em hell, buddy, and we'll see you again on the other side!
